GCC 6.5.0b in the cross-compiler version is a set of the GNU C Compiler along with binutils and other auxiliary tools, which allows compiling code for the m68k/AmigaOS platform from a Linux x86/64 system. It is an ideal solution for developing software for classic Amigas using a modern development machine. Jörgen Johansson has published on Aminet a package containing both source code, binaries, and a Docker image that simplifies setting up the compilation environment.
