volamos 0.12 - Run AmigaOS commands on Windows, macOS and Linux

volamos 0.12 has been released, bringing new features to the Rust-based environment for running classic AmigaOS 68k command-line programs on modern macOS, Linux and Windows computers. The project combines Motorola 68k CPU emulation with native implementations of AmigaOS system interfaces, allowing applications to run without a Kickstart ROM.

The update introduces UAE- and Emu68-compatible debugging output, optional instruction cache simulation and additional dos.library functions for file and directory operations. It also improves compatibility with selected Motorola 68060 FPU instructions and process termination when applications ignore standard interrupt signals.

Version 0.12 extends the --sanitize memory error detection system to cover Allocate() and Deallocate() calls from exec.library. It also implements AllocEntry() and FreeEntry(), improves FPU handling for 68040 and 68060 configurations, and fixes the --no-fpu option. The library vector limit has been increased to improve compatibility with ixemul.library 80.1, while dos.library now supports AllocDosObject(DOS_FILEHANDLE) and packet-level file operations.
